DescriptionThe School of Psychology and Sport Science are hosting the European Workshop on Imagery and Cognition (EWIC) event on 20-22 June 2023, at our ARU Cambridge Campus. EWIC (European Workshop on Imagery and Cognition) is a biennial workshop that is dedicated to the study of mental imagery and spatial cognition. It also explores other topics including perception, attention, working memory, autobiographical memory, creative thinking and problem-solving, mental imagery and clinical psychology. Delegates at this event will meet peers from around the world with the opportunity to exchange views and present their work in an inspiring atmosphere. Tickets include access to the conference, with lunch, teas and coffees provided on all three days, access to the opening evening wine and canapes on the 20th June, as well as attendance at our punting and riverside barbecue event on the 21st. Reduced Rates for Research Students We are offering a small number of tickets at a reduced rate for current research students at £375 (standard ticket cost is £500). To apply for this reduced ticket rate please email CambridgeEWIC2023 with a letter from your supervisor confirming your Student status. These tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are interested in submitting an abstract for the online EWIC event, please refer to our call for papers webpage. Submissions will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a deadline for final submissions being 28 February 2023. 2. Conference fees are: a) Payable to confirm booking b) VAT exempt c) Payable in Pounds Sterling by online payment with credit or debit card d) Subject to refund only if;

Standard Delegate ticket fees cover: a) Attendance at conference on the days specified on the online store b) All conference materials provided including presentation timetable c) PDF of Conference Abstracts d) Lunch and morning/afternoon teach and coffee for 3 days e) Ticket for opening wine reception on 20th June f) Ticket for punting tough and riverside barbecue on 21st June
a) Accommodation b) Meals except where separately identified c) Travel d) Any other assistance or materials
a) Amend any or all aspects of the published programme b) Prohibit entry to, or expel from, the conference anyone who is disruptive or otherwise considered to pose a risk to the proper order of the conference c) Cancel the event, subject to government guidance on COVID-19. In the event of cancellation, ARU will refund the cost of the EWIC 2023 Conference tickets, however ARU cannot be held responsible for any other costs incurred by attendees.
6. Unless explicitly withheld, attendance will imply that a delegate gives permission: a) To be photographed within the area occupied by the conference and that such photographs maybe used in future publicity for EWIC 2023 Conference or other reasonable use by ARU. b) For their email address to enable ARU to send information relevant to this conference (this permission can be withdrawn by the delegate on receipt of any email).
