DescriptionThe British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) is the professional body for sport and exercise sciences in the UK. Each year, BASES runs a student conference, where undergraduate and postgraduate students come and present their research. This year, the BASES Student Conference is being hosted by Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge Campus). Anglia Ruskin University is aware of the impact of cost of living and so are offering 80 tickets at a discounted price to support students with attending this event. These tickets are offered at a £25 reduction on the original ticket price, on a first-come first-served basis If purchasing multiple tickets but do not yet know the attendees names, please either use your name, or student 1, 2, 3 etc., for each ticket. Dietary and accessbility requirements can be emailed to [email protected] at a later date.

a) Payable to confirm booking b) VAT exempt c) Payable in Pounds Sterling by online payment with credit or debit card d) Subject to refund only if; 1. The conference is cancelled according to 7c 2. Extraordinary circumstances acceptable to the Administration Team for the conference.
3. Standard Delegate ticket fees cover: a) Attendance at conference on the days specified on the online store b) All conference materials provided by speakers or the organisers at the event c) Refreshments of tea, coffee, water, juice, biscuits, and pastries d) Lunch on both 2 days of the conference e) A hot working breakfast late afternoon/early evening on day 1 of the conference, and a formal dinner and awards on the evening of day 2

5. Fees do not cover: a) Accommodation b) Meals except where separately identified c) Travel d) Any other assistance or materials
a) Amend any or all aspects of the published programme b) Prohibit entry to, or expel from, the conference anyone who is disruptive or otherwise considered to pose a risk to the proper order of the conference c) Cancel the event, subject to government guidance on COVID-19. In the event of cancellation, ARU will refund the cost of the BASES Student Conference tickets, however ARU cannot be held responsible for any other costs incurred by attendees.
7. Unless explicitly withheld, attendance will imply that a delegate gives permission: a) To be photographed within the area occupied by the conference and that such photographs maybe used in future publicity for BASES or other reasonable use by ARU. b) For their email address to enable ARU to send information relevant to this conference (this permission can be withdrawn by the delegate on receipt of any email).
