Terms and Conditions – Risk Terrain Modeling Workshop
1. The Risk Terrain Modeling Workshop is administered by Anglia Ruskin University (ARU).
2. Event fees are:
a) Payable to confirm booking
b) VAT exempt
c) Payable in Pounds Sterling by online payment with credit or debit card
d) Subject to refund only if;
1. The event is cancelled according to 5c below
2. Extraordinary circumstances acceptable to the Administration Team for the workshop.
3. Standard Delegate ticket fees cover:
a) Attendance at event on the days specified on the online store
b) All conference materials provided by speakers or the organisers at the event
c) Refreshments of tea, coffee, water, biscuits, and pastries
d) Lunch on the day of the event
4. Fees do not cover:
a) Accommodation
b) Meals, except where separately identified
c) Travel
d) Any other assistance or materials
5. ARU reserves the right to:
a) Amend any or all aspects of the published programme
b) Prohibit entry to, or expel from, the event anyone who is disruptive or otherwise considered to pose a risk to the proper order of the event
c) Cancel the event, subject to government guidance on COVID-19 or if the minimum attendance level is not reached 2 weeks prior to the event taking place. Should the minimum attendance level not be reached, the University will contact anyone who has purchased a ticket. In the event of cancellation, ARU will refund the cost of the ticket; however, ARU cannot be held responsible for any other costs incurred by attendees.
6. Uses of your Personal Data
a) ARU will use personal data for the following purposes:
i) to manage your attendance at the event, including to contact you via email, with information relevant to this event, unless you cancel your attendance
ii) to contact you via email, with information about future events unless you unsubscribe from our mailing list following instructions on one of our emails
iii) to be photographed within the area occupied by the event and use such photographs in future publicity for the Risk Terrain Modeling Workshop or other reasonable promotional use by ARU. You may contact us in advance via email and talk to representatives at the event to discuss how you may opt-out from this use.
