Description

RTM is risk assessment for places. It diagnoses crime patterns. It identifies environmental conditions that contribute to crime problems. RTM drives decision-making and action for public safety. Come and join us on Tuesday 27th June for a workshop and lecture led by special guest Dr. Joel Caplan.

This event consists of two parts: a workshop and a lecture. We have a limited number of tickets available to purchase to attend the workshop, which takes place during the day from 10:00am to 3:00pm with lunch included. This ticket automatically registers you a place to attend the lecture in the evening, taking place from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. If you are purchasing a ticket to the workshop but do not plan on attending the lecture, please do let us know so we can make the place available to someone else.

The interactive workshop is designed for everyone, without any previous experience or background. We’ll discuss how to use RTM for data analysis, resource deployments, prevention, and Data-Informed Community Engagement (DICE). You will learn how RTM works, review case studies, and gain practical insights and tips to take home for implementation.

The (free to attend) public lecture will introduce RTM and use case studies to illustrate how effective it can be.
