DBS – Disclosure and Barring Service Online Payment SystemThe DBS is an executive agency of the Home Office, it developed to enable organisations to make safer recruitment decisions for people undertaking work and placements which include contact with vulnerable adults and/or children.
Those wishing to study courses at Anglia Ruskin University which involve working with vulnerable adults and/or children are required to undertake a DBS Enhanced Level Disclosure. This will be a condition of the offer to study for successful applicants to these courses. This requirement will be included in the offer letter. The DBS application process is managed through the Chelmsford UK/EU Admissions Office. If you have any questions relating to this requirement please contact the Criminal Records Officer, Fleur Mitchell on 0845 196 4984.
The current cost of a DBS disclosure application is £44.00, this is the fixed price set by the DBS; Anglia Ruskin University does not make any additional charge. If you have not yet received a DBS application form please contact the Criminal Records Officer on 0845 196 4984.
