Pesticide Application

Enjoy learning new skills in a pleasant and relaxed environment, with expert tuition from our friendly instructors.

Anyone spraying chemicals including fungicides, herbicides and insecticides professionally must have received adequate training and be able to evidence this. PA1 is a pre-requisite and should be taken before attending any of the application methods.

Reading assistance is not available for candidates with literacy difficulties.

Candidates must have a good standard of written English to be able to read, understand and interpret regulations and information on pesticide labels. This is all in compliance with regulations and directives from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

We are governed by Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations therefore candidates will not be allowed to start any practical training or assessment without the correct Personal Protective Equipment as detailed in the course joining instructions.

For more information and to make a booking simply click on the course title, alternatively please call our booking line 01245 424286/7.

Writtle University College reserves the right to withdraw any short course where there is insufficient demand; we will in this instance transfer the place or offer a refund.
