This half day course is aimed at anyone using bench-mounted and hand-held electrical abrasive wheels. The course is designed to comply with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1999 and Management of Health & Safety Regulations 1998.

Over four days, you'll get experience of welding various joints and material thickness, explore the techniques involved, and learn to recognise defects along with correct finishes. Demonstrations of welding and some associated processes are an integral part of the course. It's an informal course and we welcome anyone who'd like to learn more about welding, from corporate apprentices and hobbyists, to those undertaking DIY projects.
