This one day executive education course provides a concise and accessible overview of the state of the planet in 2026, using the planetary boundaries framework to explore how key sustainability challenges interact and what this means for policy, governance and organisational decision-making.

Participants will examine practical examples of positive change. Through a series of case studies and discussion-based sessions, the course highlights both emerging risks and opportunities for action.

The day also includes an interactive workshop led by Richard Spencer, former Director of Sustainability at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), exploring the mindsets, leadership capabilities and practical skills needed to drive positive change within organisations and across systems.
