Learn the basic principles of horse care and how to safely and efficiently undertake daily tasks in this thirteen-week integrated training and assessment programme. This course is accredited by The British Horse Society.

Course Description

Tasks you will cover include routine grooming, mucking out, bedding down, cleaning and adjusting tack and providing food and water.

Successful candidates will receive a certificate on completion of the course. Successful completion of both this BHS Silver Challenge Award - Care and the Silver Challenge Award - Lunge provides direct entry to the BHS Stage 2 Care and Lunge.
