DescriptionThe second Centre for Military Women’s Research conference is themed around the health and well-being of women in the military community. The conference will take place over two days. The first day includes keynote speeches from Surgeon Captain Kate King and Professor Dawne Vogt, along with sessions on women’s experiences during and after military service. The second day comprises a keynote from Professor Rose Ricciardelli and a choice of four workshops on different topics, ending with a plenary session. Please specify your workshop preferences when making your booking. Wednesday 23 April: 9.30am – 4pm (followed by a drinks reception) Thursday 24 April: 10am – 2.30pm (workshops and plenary, finishing with lunch)
