With one in six of the adult population in the UK being affected by hearing loss, this two-and-a-half-hour workshop aims to bring awareness to the challenges deaf people encounter in their day to day lives.

• Hearing loss and what this can mean

• Signs of hearing loss

• How to get someone’s attention

• Lip reading awareness and games

• Fingerspelling and basic BSL i.e. greetings
