This 10 week, progression course is designed to follow-on from the Garden Design - Introduction. It will provide learners with an in depth understanding of garden design processes and procedures, utilising more advanced principles and how these are applied in practice.

Course Description

On completion of this course candidates will be able to:

• Appraise and interpret the client and project brief
• Prepare site survey and site analysis (SWOT) of a project site
• Compile a mood board/concept board for proposed design ideas
• Prepare site functional analysis and functional diagrams based on the briefs
• Development of complex design principles into an interim sketch design
• Develop outline hard and soft landscape materials
• Develop a final Sketch Design Layout
• Presentation of final design proposals in 2-D and 3-D formats
